I Love Fall!
I took this picture because I just love the way that the candle glows next to my cute, spray painted, Goodwill salvaged bowl with black and cream balls. Just looks warm and all Fall like. Then I looked closely at the picture and realized that when my cutie little grandson, Max, picked up one of the balls to throw it (only before I explained that it was Grammy's toy), I saw where he picked off one of the pieces on the cream one. How cute is that?
Also I LOVE the little cream colored pumpkins in my living room. They look so great with all of my black and cream accents. Too bad they won't last year round! Just a few more weeks and as soon as we put our forks down from Thanksgiving dinner, it's officially time to bring out the Christmas decor. Oh yeah!

Let's make a change
Sometimes I find myself looking at something that I own over and over again knowing that there's just something that I don't like about it. I bought this little chest years ago.
It's not really well made. It's more of a decorative piece than a sturdy piece of furniture. Anyways, something just didn't quite click with me any more. I figured that it was the swirly "leather looking" brown areas. I figured that since I've painted just about everything else I own black, I'll just change that as well. Out came my painters tape so that I didn't get any paint on the actual leather straps. Next, I pulled out my handy dandy black paint.
Here’s the end result. Love it!!! Why didn’t I do this long ago?
